Self-Taping Screw

Self-tapping screws come with a sharp, piercing tip or a flat, blunt tip. The sharp-tipped screws are designed for drilling their own hole into softer materials such as wood and plastic so they do not need a pilot hole. The advantage of the flat-tipped screw is that it would not get stuck in the material and break off. Self-tapping screws have a wide range of tip and thread patterns, and are available with almost any possible screw head design. Common features are the screw thread covering the whole length of the screw from tip to head and a pronounced thread hard enough for the intended substrate, often case-hardened. The hardened screws are for substance where the core is hard and the non- hardened screws are made where the application of screws is in softer materials like wood and plastic. We are making two types of Self-Taping screws:- - AB type self-taping screw which are sharp pointed at the toe end - B type sel-taping screw which are blunt at toe.
